NBSA Basketball League 

The Northern Berkshire Sports Academy is in its first year of running our Basketball league. Each game is played at the North Adams Armory. We started off with our first season, the 2023 Spring season, and have kept it going. Going from one division in the spring of 8 teams to 17 teams combined with an A and B divisions in the summer season. The summer consisted of some of the best talent, and most competitive, exciting games we’ve seen in this area in a long time! In the Fall we added a small High School Season.
  
Moving forward, we hope to have three different seasons through the year. Every year. A Sunday morning Spring season, Summer season of weekday nights, and a Sunday morning Fall Season. Taking a break during the winter as youth and High School basketball take over.  
Our biggest season, the Summer season, we look to add the woman’s division and a larger High School division next year. So spread the word!

A lot of work is put into the league. Each game is filmed and put up on our YouTube Channel. A scorebook is kept, where we keep track of points leaders, rebound leaders, and 3-point leaders. These leaders are announced throughout the season, and awards given at the end of the year, including the championship trophy and league MVP. A game writeup summary is done after each game highlighting the top players in the game. Social media posts are made each week highlighting these write-ups, stat leaders, season standings. There are also photos taken of games capturing some of the great moments of competition that are posted on social media.
