Basketball League
All participants in the league, in the face of enjoying healthy and intense competition, must act in a respectful manner towards all other players, coaches, officials, scorekeepers, and fans.
Many youth athletes and young children are watching at all times. Playing in the league is a privilege and opportunity to be a strong role model for those in the community watching.
League Rules
All technical fouls will be assessed a $10.00 fine to be paid prior to the next game or that player will not be allowed to play.
Two technical fouls in one game will result in expulsion that game and next scheduled game.
No physical contact with any league official will be tolerated, that player will be expelled from further league play.
If the difference between two teams is 20 points or more with 2 minutes left to play in the game that game will be declared over. 30 points with 3 minutes to play
If a team has only 5 players and a player fouls out that player can still play but every time that player makes a foul after his 5th foul it will be a technical. 2 shots and the ball.
Two forfeits in the season, in which no eligible players were added and the result was either an unplayed forfeit game or a forfeit but played game with ineligible players, will result in being playoff ineligible, with no refund.
Must start the game with 5 eligible players. Can continue to add eligible players to the roster until game 5. After game 5, no new players can be added to the roster. Adding new ineligible players in order to play the game, will still result in a forfeit even though the game could still be played.
Must be 18+ years of age, and out of Highschool to compete in the men’s/women's divisions of the league. Unless otherwise stated by having Highschool teams in the league.
If a playoff eligible team can not make the required game day and must forfeit a playoff game, and knows in advance, the next highest seed will be awarded a playoff spot.
If a team must forfeit a championship game due to lack of players, both teams can agree on a different day/time and the game can be moved and still played. If the other team does not agree, the result will be a forfeit for the team that can’t make it, and the other team wins.
Once you play for a team, you are no longer eligible to join another team in the same Division.
B-Division players may also play in the A-Division if they desire. But to keep fairness in the B-Division, A-Division players may not come down to the B-Division. Anyone can be any A-Div. players. Qualifying to be a B-Div. player, it is up to the discretion of the league.
In case of a tie in standings, Ties for seeding will be broken in the following manner:

Head-to-Head matchup
Point differential
Points allowed
Points scored
Game Rules
Running time, 20 minutes each half, clock to stop only on foul shots and with 2 minutes left in the game clock will stop on all whistles. Clock will run during free throws if the lead is over 30.
NCAA rules will govern all game situations.
Each team will receive 4 game timeouts. Two timeouts per half. If you don’t use them in each of the required halves, you lose them.
3-minute overtime period, each team will get one more timeout.
Alternate possession on jump balls.
One game past the halfway point rosters are closed. Any additional added players in order to play the game, result in a forfeit. But the game can still be played.
Players must play or attend "In case of injury" one half of its teams scheduled games in order to play in the playoffs. And the scorekeeper must be made aware that the player is at the game and cannot play! If not that player will not get credit.
NO ALCOHOLIC BEVERAGES WILL BE ALLOWED!
